Lesee ... what comics do I read?
Wait a minute ... let's put it this way ...
What comics can I AFFORD to read?
Most of the titles I read are from Top Cow: Witchblade, Tomb Raider, Fathom, The Magdalena, Blood Legacy; The Story of Ryan, Darkness (I'm not too keen on the blood & gore, so I don't read it as much).
I've read E.V.E, Proto-Mecha (if you're looking for a good story--DON'T BUY IT). The new Batgirl is pretty good, but I don't like the new Spidergirl too much (how come Marvel can never launch a good series with a female lead character?).
I have the 3 Essential Wolverines (& a subscription, naturally ;D), Ultimate X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, Spawn (again, I'm kind of sick of the violence in it), Eleketra (1996 back issues & the newest ones), Wild Thing, Excalibur, Gargoyles (based on the TV show), Supergirl, Lady Death, Lady Pendragon, Wonder Woman, and half a dozen other graphic novels (League of One, etc).
I blame my older brother for getting me hooked!!

Oh! Sorry, Squee22. There is a comic book called Squee!, about an adorable little boy, who makes the sound "Squee!" when he is frightened, which is often, because he lives in a scary world, filled with fantastic creatures, and scary and indifferent people. A homocidal maniac gothboy named Johnny used to live next door to him, too. It's actually very well done, and it's by an artist from somewhere in California, so I figured (incorrrectly) that you may be into Slave Labor Graphics comics, which is based in CA. But you took your name from a pet? That is so adorable! I used to have a pet white rat named Squeak, who was just the sweetest thing. I adore all my pets. I actually have a black cat named Lamia, so there's another coincidence! Wolverine has gotten progressively more violent, don't you think? I've never read Lady Death. I used to be into Vampirella, Catwoman, and occasionally Razor. There IS a shortage of good comic book heroines lately. And villainesses, too, for that matter.

OTHER Comics? Y-y-you mean there are comics that DON'T involve Nightcrawler!! GASP!
WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO!?!?
J/K. Other than the X-men, I read the occasional Simpsons and Dexter's Lab comics
. I would probably read more and cooler stuff, but my mom might not let me (yes, my mom. I'm only 14). Plus, the only comic book store in town carries only Marvel and Anime stuff.

Oh, cool. Sin City! One of my tattooists is into Sin City, and he showed me some of his recently. I liked it. Very Film Noir. I've read Hellboy, too. Good stuff.

No kidding!? I had no idea!
Yeah, I've got alot of pets, too--2 goldfish, Squee, and 3 dogs. One of my dogs is quite ill at the moment so I'm hoping all will turn out OK tomorrow.
Just trying to keep my mind off it.
As for comics, I buy only the XMen stuff...I used to buy EXC, UCXM, XM, XFAC, and XMAN a couple of years ago. Now half of those are gone (or dried up) and so it's just Uncanny and XMen and now Ultimate. I have a soft spot for other superheroes like Iron Man and Spidey but I don't really follow the books.
If I could only afford one this month, it would be Uncanny because of Kurt.
BTW, does anyone else think it was stupid for Marvel to change the title of the adjectiveless XMen to "New XMen"--What dos it mean? They're not new, none if it is new. They couldn't have thought of another adjective? They did OK when AoA came along calling the titles Amazing and Astonishing. I'm sorry, but there's got to be a better name than "New XMen".
Incredible XMen? Brilliant XMen? Fabulous XMen? Fantabulous XMen? Spectacular XMen?

LOL!
Other comics?...sheesh...this could be a looong post because there's a bunch of other stuff that i'm into...
Where to begin? (Cool topic btw SPOOKYSPICE!)
O.K. I'm an incorrigible and long time Marvel zombie so I buy a ton of their titles.
Of course I buy most of the X-stuff, and i'm a Spider-Man junkie as well. (J. Micheal Strazynski's doing some incredible stuff with my other favorite wallcrawler!)
I'm somewhat of a DC fanatic too, and I soak up most of the Batman related titles, including Nightwing, Birds of Prey, Batgirl (ditto LAMIA!) and Robin. JLA continues to kick complete a@@ and it's one of my monthly must-reads.
Some other books i'm really enjoying right now are Battlechasers, ( when it comes out
) Rising Stars, (WOW!) Humberto Ramos' 'Out there', and Image's Warlands. From week to week i'll pick up pretty much anything that catches my fancy and/or pique's my curiosity. Oh yeah, and as a rule I buy anything put out by either Alan Davis or Frank Miller! (whew!)
BAMF!

LAMIA! Really?! How/where/when did you get it?! I can't find it anywhere in my area! (ok, let me cool off a minute...)
